hey friend..
According to transpiration pull force theory,
Transpiration causes water to leave the plant resulting in a force that draws water up through the xylem.
Hope this helps☺

The transpiration pull, the capillary action and the adhesion force are the forces which helps in conduction of water. It is conducted in plant body or in the ground or on the ground surface.

EXPLANATION:

  • Transpiration pull:  The process of upper movement of water inside the plant body due to the evaporation and the continuous attachment of the water molecules.
  • Capillary action: The movement of water in the direction where the force of adhesion is larger than the force of cohesion.
  • Adhesion: The force of interaction between the same molecules of a component is called as adhesion force.
