The formula of water is h20 it means the ratio of hydrogen and oxygen is 2:1

brilliant86: welcome
bhuvan22: I have one more question
bhuvan22: Write the difference between O2 and 2O
brilliant86: in which class do you read
brilliant86: actually the molecular formula of oxygen is O2 not 20 we use 2O we have to balance the chemical equation.
brilliant86: ok

Water is in fact a chemical. Its chemical formula is H2O when properly written the “2” after the H is written subscript but due to formatting restrictions it will simply be written as 'H2O' . Each water molecule is made of 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen thus there are2 'H' atoms and one “o”.
