the formula of the hexane is C6 h14 then why the formula of cyclohexane is C6 h12
please help me I will make us brainlist

Here's explained

As per the formula, hexane has the formula C6H14. This follows the CnH2n+2 rule too.

Whereas, for cyclohexane, the formula becomes C6H12.

A ring is formed by losing 2 H and making another C-C to form a cycle.
