Solution:

cylindrical vessel of base radius r cm and height h cm opened at one end​

CSA - Curved surface area = 2πrh

Base Area = πr²

Top area = 0  at open on one end

Total surface area  = 2πrh +  πr²

= (πr² + 2πrh) cm²

Total surface area  =  (πr² + 2πrh) cm²
