Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

The four angles of a quadrilateral arex,x+5,x-5 and 30 degree.

To find :-

What is the measure of the largest angle?

Solution:-

Given that :

The four angles of a quadrilateral are X° , (X+5)° , (X-5)° and 30°

We know that

The sum of all angles in a quadrilateral = 360°

=> X°+(X+5)°+(X-5)°+30° = 360°

=> (X°+X°+X°) +(5°-5°+30°) = 360°

=> 3X° +30° = 360°

=> 3X° = 360°-30°

=> 3X° = 330°

=> X° = 330°/3

=> X° = 110°

Now

X-5=110°-5° = 105°

X+5 = 110°+5° = 115°

The four angles are 110°,105°,115°,30°

Answer:-

The largets of all four angles in the quadrilateral is 115°

Used formulae:-

  • The sum of all angles in a quadrilateral = 360°
