Angles of a Quadrilateral in the Ratio :- 3 : 4 : 5 : 6

To Find:-

Measure of each Angle:

Solution:

As, sum of the four angles in a quadrilateral = 360°.

Angles of a Quadrilateral in the Ratio :- 3 : 4 : 5 : 6

According to this :-

Let,

the first angle be :- '3x'

second angle be :- '4x'

third angle be :- '5x'

fourth angle ne :- '6x'

then ,

3x + 4x + 5x + 6x = 360°

7x + 11x = 360°

18x = 360°

x = \sf\dfrac{360°}{18}

x = 20°

so,

First angle  3x = 3*20° = 60°

second angle = 4x = 4*20° = 80°

Third angle = 5x = 5*20° = 100°

Fourth angle = 6x = 6*20°= 120°

\sf\therefore angles of the quadrilateral = 3x ,4x , 5x , 6x =  60° , 80° , 100° ,  120°.
