the electronic configuration of potassium

1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 4s^1 .

now we take only outermost shell which is

4s^1

so
principal quantum(n) =4
azimuthal q.no for s(l)=0
magnetic q.no(-l to+l)=0
spin q.no=1/2

so 4,0,0,1/2 is correct
