Answer:Everything in Earth's system can be placed into one of four major subsystems: land, water, living things, or air. These four subsystems are called "spheres." Specifically, they are the "lithosphere" (land), "hydrosphere" (water), "biosphere" (living things), and "atmosphere" (air).

The four subsystems of earth are as follows:

Lithosphere: The lithosphere includes the brittle upper portion of the mantle and the crust, the outermost layers of Earth’s structure. It is bounded by the atmosphere above and the asthenosphere (another part of the upper mantle) below.

Hydrosphere: The five layers of hydrosphere(oceans) are Epipelagic Zone (sunlight zone), Mesopelagic Zone (twilight zone), Bathypelagic Zone (midnight zone), Abyssopelagic Zone (the abyss) and Hadalpelagic Zone (the trenches)

Biosphere: It is the worldwide sum of all ecosystems.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is comprised of layers based on temperature. These layers are the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere and thermosphere. A further region at about 500 km above the Earth's surface is called the exosphere.
