Given points are

A (3,1),B(0,-2),C(1,1) and D(4,4)

A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if the opposite sides are equal.

∴AB^2=(3-0) ^2+(1-(-2)) ^2

=3^2+3 ^2

=9+9

=18

BC^2=(1-0) ^2+(1-(-2)) ^2

=1^2+3 ^2

=1+9

=10

CD^2=(1-4) ^2+(1-4) ^2

=(-3) ^2+(-3 )^2

=9+9

=18

AD^2=(3-4) ^2+(1-4) ^2

=(-1)^2+(-3) ^2

=1+9

=10

∴AB=CD= 18 and BC=AD= 10

∴ The opposite sides of the quadrilateral ABCD are equal, the four points from a parallelogram.
