   Fourier transform is applicable to an integrable time domain signal. The signals can be aperiodic or periodic.

   Fourier transform is used for analysis of a time domain signal in the Frequency domain OR, vice-versa.  The frequency domain Fourier transform of a time domain signal is defined as :

Fourier Transform is used by all Telecommunications engineers.
