No, pasteurization does not means boiling of milk to kill germs.....

The process of pasteurization deals with protecting one food stuff over any edible from germs who spoil it...So that it can be stored for long.

Milk is a day to day life example that is stored through pasteurization.

In this process milk is first boiled and then suddenly chilled in the refrigerator.

This results in the killing of the Germs in it.

The term pasteurization was first coined by LOUIS PASTURE.
