The freedom fighter who inspires me the most is Bhagat Singh.
I feel he has invaluable contribution to the Indian freedom Struggle
He was the part of the  extremist movement which adhered more on violent measures to exert one's right.

As a freedom fighter, he was considered to be one of the most well-known revolutionaries of the Bharatiya Independence movement. That is why, he could be often known as Martyr Bhagat Singh. At a young age, before being hanged to death if anyone was smiling, it was Martyr Bhagat Singh. His uncle, his father too as Sardar Ajit Singh, were equally excellent freedom fighters, so Bhagat Singh was raised in a feeling that is patriotic.

At a young age, Bhagat Singh started dreaming of uprooting the British Empire. In order that he could combat with the British never fearful of battling throughout his childhood, he considered of ‘ growing firearms in the fields’. The Ghadar Movement made a deep imprint on his mind. Kartar Singh Sarabha, hanged at the age of 19, became his hero. The massacre at Jallianwala Bagh on 13th April, 1919 drove him to Amritsar, where he kissed the ground sanctified by the martyrs’ blood and cut back a little of the soil that was soaked. At the age of 16, he used to question why so many Indians could not drive away a fistful of invaders.

A barbarous attack by the police on veteran freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai at an anti - British Procession caused Lalaji's death in November 1928. Bhagat Singh decided to avenge his death by shooting the official accountable for the killing, Deputy Inspector General Scott. Instead, he shot down Assistant Superintendent Saunders, mistaking him General Scott. He then made a sensational escape from Lahore to Calcutta and from there where he created a bomb factory.

All these Heroic acts of Bhagat Singh inspire me to have vigor in life, to fight for the cause. Therefore Life of Bhagat Singh inspires me the most.

THE FREEDOM FIGHTER WHO INSPIRES ME MOST

All freedom fighters are great as all of them stand for certain principles, have futuristic vision and motivated towards the improvement of human life. But, there are certain freedom fighters from whom other freedom fighters draw their inspiration.  One such personality, who inspires me the most is Mr.Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Known as Mahatma Gandhi, he was unique. Though a barrister by profession, he chose to dedicate his life for the emancipation of the human mind which he called as the true freedom.

He had seen the discrimination among people in South Africa.  He started a movement there for the sake of human dignity.

Arriving in India in 1914 the atmosphere of Indian independence movement beckoned him.  He dressed up just like any poor Indian and moved among the masses as one among them. The ordinary people of India could connect themselves with his thoughts due to Gandhiji’s simplicity, truthfulness and honesty.

For him, liberation of the people’s mind was far more important than the political freedom of India from the British.  While he fought the British he loved them as he could not see any difference in them as they are also humans.

He thought himself to be an instrument in the hands of God for serving the humanity. Who else can take the name of God other than him when he was shot at close range on 30th January 1948 while going for prayer?  No wonder many world leaders like Martin Luther King drew inspiration from his life!
