The French Society was divided into 3 estates.
1. First estate:-
- It included clergy.
- They had certain privileges.
- The first estates consisted of the church people.
- They didn't had to pay taxes.
- This estate owned third estate.
2. Second estate:-
- It includes nobility.
- They also had privileges like clergy.
- This assets included the royal family and nobles.
- They also didn't had to any direct tax to king.
3. Third estate:-
- The third estate consisted of the lawyers included merchants, farmers, businessman etc.
- They didn't had any kind of privileges since they had to pay many types of taxes like direct tax, which is supposed to donate in king's capital.
- They had no rights, equality and right to vote was never introduced to them.
