To find :

To define relation between frequency (f) and wavelength (λ) of a sound wave.

Explanation :

We know ,

Distance traveled by a wave in a given certain amount of time will be its speed.

that is , v = d/t

where , d = λ = wavelength or the distance traveled by a wave (in metres)

also shown by 2πr in given time (t)

Now ,

v = λ / t

Also we know that  or cycles made by a wave per seconds is its frequency (f).

Therefore ,

v = f × λ

Since a sound wave propagates with the speed of light in a vacuum medium that is given by "c" and whose value is 3 × 10^{8} m/s.

or , λ ∝ \frac{1}{f}

That is , wavelength is inversely proportional to frequency.

Although your question is incomplete , you might be referring to this question.

Write the following statements using symbols of variation : The frequency (f) of a sound wave varies inversely as the wavelength (λ). ( λ or lambda - a Greek letter ).
