Acceleration becomes two times which means doubled because angular acceleration is equal to frequency and acceleration which means frequency of an object is directly related to angular acceleration.

Any change in frequency will be equal to similar change in angular acceleration. If frequency becomes double its acceleration will also become double.

Angular acceleration of any rotating object is a rate at which angular velocity changes over time. It is an example of vector.
