- For all cellphones there are two types of calls incoming and outgoing calls hence to discourage any kind of interference with each other both the calls must have separate frequencies.
- If there is no change in frequencies the calls will interfere and the weaker one could be swamped by the stronger one.
- Frequency division duplex or FDD is a way of separating both the frequencies such that two frequencies operate at the same time.
