It is true that the poem is a spoof on a present society. Most of the people who have resources and experience though less talented, treat the less experienced with more talent unfairly. However educated they might be, but the moment they see a more talented person in their field, they become jealous of them and try to get rid of them. In spite of modernity of civilization, man's basic instincts are as unrefined as they were in the past!
