hello Friend!!!!!

In the poem ‘The Frog and the Nightingale’, the frog is shown as vey cunning, sly and arrogant. He introduces himself to the nightingale as the owner of the sumac tree and tells her that he has long been known for his melodious voice. This way he tries to influence the nightingale. He convinces the nightingale that she needs training that only he can provide. He exploits the nightingale by making her sing in the concerts. He is very arrogant and makes curt remarks about the singing quality of the nightingale and makes her succumb to his pressures. He makes her rehearse hard in the rain. The nightingale bursts a vein and dies. Thus it can be concluded that the frog is very sly and cunning.

Hope this will help you.
