CUTTACK:Freedom fighter Laxmi Indira Panda’s grandson Babula Panda, who was undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital here, was handed over to police after being discharged from the hospital on Friday.
SCB Principal Dr Sidharth Das said Babula was discharged at around 11 am after necessary check-ups in neurology and cardiology departments. ‘’He is fully cured and completely stable,’’ Das said. Babula was undergoing treatment in the trauma care ICU of the hospital since April 27.
According to Commissionerate police, Babula was handed over to a team of Jeypore police which will escort him to his home.
