(-x-5)×(x+1)

-x(x+1)-5(x+1)

-x2-x -5x-5=0

take - as a common

x2+6x+5=0

x2+5x+1x+5=0

x(x+5)+1(x+5)=0

(x+1)=0

x=-1

x+5=0

x=-5
