The function of the integumentary system is to protect the body from different kinds of damage . For example dehydration or abrasion ( an area damaged by scraping or wearing away) .
The organs involved are skin with its appadages are scale, hair , feather, hooves, and nails.
It also makes you water proof, helps in excretion and regulate temperature etc.
