there is a limit for most of the resources present in our planet.
eg -petroleum and coal which are non renewable resources therefore the future generation will face a shortage of these resources if we use them as we do at present. over usage of resources are a great threat to the coming generation.
"there are enough resources available in our earth, but not enough to satisfy human greed". people over exploit resources causing tremendous loss of natural resources. one of the great threat to the biodiversity. currently about a third of the world's endangered vertebrates are threatened to the overexploitation.
the tuna, cod, halibut and haddock fisheries in the north Atlantic ocean have declined to one-third of what the used to be. The over exploitation of fisheries is an example of a tragedy of the commons-people take more and more of the resources until they are no longer available.
therefore a sustainable use of the available resources are good.
Hope this helps..
