MOET as we know Multiple Ovulation and Embryo Transfer involves the genetic mother to produce large number of ovules/eggs. These eggs are then fertilized with the sperm cell of desired quality and the embryo thus formed is transplanted into a surrogate mother. Here the genetic mother is artificially treated with hormones to produce more than normal quantities of ovules and is not mated with a male; thus the genetic mother does not give birth to calf.
