The genotype of round seeded pea plant is denoted as RR and that of wrinkled seed as rr. When the two are crossed : (a) What phenotype would you expect in F1 generation ? (b) Give the percentage of wrinkled seeded plants when F1 are self pollinated. (c) In what ratio would you find the genotype RR and Rr in F2 progeny ?

(A)-PHENOTYPE WILL BE ALL ROUND SEEDED PEAS.
(B)- 25 % - IN F-2 GENERATION IF F-1 ARE SELF POLLINATED WILL BE WRINKLED.
(C)- GENOTYPIC RATIO OF RR TO Rr will be 1:2 in F-2 PROGENY
THIS IS SUFFICIENT BUT IF THE SAME QUESTION COMES FOR 5 MARKS EVEN THE CROSS SHOULD BE MENTIONED, WORKOUT OF PUNNETT SQUARE SHOULD ALSO BE SHOWN.....
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
