The geometric mean of two numbers is 45. if one of them is 9, find the other.

if \:  \:  \: a \: and \: b \:  \:  \: are \: two \: numbers
their \: geometric \: mean \: is \sqrt{a \times b}
given \: a = 9 \:  \: and \: mean \:  = 45
thus \: b =   \frac{ {45}^{2} }{9}  = 225
