In the given figure area of triangle DPC is common in both the parallelograms and the triangle is lying on same base and between same parallels in both the parallelograms so area of triangleDPC will be equal to half the area of llgm
In llgm ABCD and llgm PQRD
Area of DPC = Area of DPC
So, 1/2 area of ABCD= 1/2Area of PQRD
Area of ABCD = Area of PQRD
