The given figure consists of a cylindrical base surmounted by a conical roof. Radius of the cone and cylinder are same 6cm. Find the volume of the given figure given height of the cylinder is 14cm. Height of the cone is 7cm​

Answer:

radius of the cone = 6 cm

height of the cone = 7 cm

volume of the cone = ⅓ײ²/⁷ × radius × height ( by substituting)

volume of the cone = 264 cm³

for cylinder height = 14 cm

volume of cylinder = πr²h

1584 cm³

Therefore, total volume = volume of the cylinder+ volume of cone

= 1584 + 264 cm³

= 1848 cm³
