The given figure consists of four small semicircles of equal radii; and two big semicircles of equal radii (each 42cm). Find the perimeter of the shaded region.

Here is the answer for ur Query

Perimeter of semi circle πr

Radius of the semicircle AC AND CE are equal

So their perimeter of them is 2πr. 2semicircle =a circle

2*22/7*42=264 cm²

And now the perimeter of the 4 small semi circles

Which have a diameter of 42cm

Since AB=BC=CD=ED

so their radii will be 21cm

As their are the 4 semicircle the formula will be 4πr

Now ,

4*22/7*21=264cm

Now the perimeter of 2 bigger semi circle +perimeter of 4 small semi circles will be

264+264 =528cm
