Given:

TEAM is figure Kite

Angle ∠M = 88° and ∠72°  

To find:

The measure of ∠T and ∠A

Solution:

Angles in Kite:

A quadrilateral with two sets of equal adjacent sides is called a kite. The angles formed by the converging pairs of adjacent sides are equal.  

 

Given TEAM is a triangle

Here angle ∠M = 88° and ∠72°  

By the given data a kite will have two pairs of equal angles

In the given Kite, the angles ∠T and ∠A are equal angles

=> ∠T and ∠A

As we know the sum of the angles in quadrilateral = 360°

In kite TEAM,  ∠T + ∠E + ∠A + ∠M = 360°

=>  ∠T + 72 + ∠T + 88° = 360°    [ By the given data ]

=>  2∠T = 360° - 160°

=> 2∠T = 200°  

=>   ∠T = 100°    

As we know ∠T = ∠A

=> ∠A = 100°  

Therefore,

The measures of ∠T and ∠A are 100°
