Step-by-step explanation:

AG= AF + FG = 6 + 8 = 14m

GD=GH + HD =10 + 5 = 15m

Now area of all triangles = area of ∆AGF +area of ∆EGD + area of ∆AFB + area of ∆DHC

= ½ × h×b + ½ × h×b + ½ × h×b + ½ × h×b

= ½ × 14×8 + ½ × 15×8 + ½ × 6×3 + ½ × 5×8

= ½ × 112 + ½ × 120 + ½ × 18 + ½ × 40

= 56 + 60 + 9 + 20

= 136 m²

.

Now

(F-G-H)

so, FG + GH = 8 + 10 = 18m

Now let us find the area of trapezium BFHC,

½ × 18 (3+8)

= ½ × 18 × 11

= ½ × 198

= 99 m²

Now area of polygon is here sum area of all triangles and area of trapezium

that is,

136 + 99 = 329 m²

.

.

Hope it helps.
