R1 and R2 are parellel.
therefore, R1/R2
1/R1+ 1/R2
1/ 6+ 1/2
Take LCM of Denominator
1/6+3/6=4/6=2/3=0.66
R1 is 0.66 ohm.
therefore, 0.66+ 6= 6.66 ohm

R1 & R2 are in parallel - equallant resistance R(1,2) =1.5 ohm
R3 = 6ohm
R(1,2) & R3 are in series
Total resistance = R(1,2) + R3= 1.5+6= 7.5 ohm
R3 = 6ohm
R(1,2) & R3 are in series
Total resistance = R(1,2) + R3= 1.5+6= 7.5 ohm
