Given:

Angle of incidence=40°

‎ ‎ ‎

To find:

Angle of reflection

‎ ‎ ‎

Solution:

Here's the concept of law of reflection is used,we can find the reflected angle by applying 2nd law of reflection.

‎ ‎ ‎

Let's see what are laws of reflection !

‎ ‎ ‎

There are 2 laws of reflection.

➛ According to first law incident ray, reflected ray and normal all lie on the same plane.

‎ ‎ ‎

➛ The 2nd law of motion states that angle of incident will always equal to the angle of reflection .

‎ ‎ ‎

From 2nd law of reflection

➛ ‎ ‎ ‎Angle i =Angle r

➛ ‎ ‎ ‎40°=Angle r

∴ The required angle is 40°

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: angle of incidence = 90-40=50

angle bw reflected ray and incident ray that is angle of deviation is twice of angle i

therefore its 50×2 thats 100 degree
