The given line passes through the points (0, −3) and (2, 3).

Using two point formula we find the slope of given line as

\frac{3-(-3)}{2-0} =3.

Thus slope of required line = 3 since the reuired line is parallel to this line.

It passes through (-1,-1)

Using point slope formula as m=3, (x1,y1) =(-1,-1) we get

y+1 = 3(x+1)

y = 3x+2 is the required line.
