  • River godavari takes it's orgin at mahabaleshwar of western ghats and flows towards eastern side and empties in bay of bengal.
  • Because the South India is tilted little bit towards eastern side.
  • that's why the rivers orginated in the western ghats will flow towards the eastern side.
