River godavari takes it's orgin at mahabaleshwar of western ghats and flows towards eastern side and empties in bay of bengal. Because the South India is tilted little bit towards eastern side. that's why the rivers orginated in the western ghats will flow towards the eastern side.

they are evaporation, condensation , precipitation and collection. evaporation- this is when the warmth from the sun cause water from the ocean, ponds , lake, river and rise in the air and turn into water vapour.
