It is to bring into your notice that one of my friends sent me a gift packed in a parcel booked through the railway courier services. I received that parcel on the due date and time but unfortunately it was not in its original condition as it was physically damaged and the gift packed inside was also broken. Therefore, I, hereby, request you to look into the matter and arrange a compensation for me in this respect.

I am writing to your good self to lodge against the poor freight service. My parcel was transported by my brother from Vijayawada on November 12, 2018 by train number 3498. It was a beautiful table. I received the parcel on November 20, 2018 at the station itself. However, when I opened the parcel to see whether any damage had been done to it or not, I found the table in bad shape. One of its legs was broken. There were many scratches on its new surface. It means the parcel had not been treated with care during the transportation. I appeal to you to look into the matter and take strict action against the careless personnel concerned.
