Answer:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), this year, decided to reduce the syllabus of classes 9th to 12th. The board had to make this decision to compensate for the loss of studies that occurred due to the coronavirus outbreak all through the country. This would definitely reduce pressure among students and help them study the prescribed course effectively. We are providing here the deleted portion of the CBSE Class 9 Syllabus. The deleted portion of the syllabus is applicable only for the current academic session and will not be a part of the internal assessments and annual examination. Students must check the topics and chapters removed from the syllabus so as to plan their studies according to the same.

Answer:

NTSE 2021: NCERT has started the application process for NTSE 2021. All states and UTs have started to release the NTSE application form 2021 in October 2020 on the official website of SCERTs. Goa, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Maharashtra,  Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat have released the NTSE 2021 application form on the official websites. Due to COVID19 pandemic, some Boards have made the NTSE registration process 2021 completely online. Students need to fill and submit the NTSE 2021 application form, along with the application fee (if any) in the online mode. The NTSE 2021 stage 1 is scheduled to be conducted on December 12, 2020, for Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Andaman & Nicobar islands and on December 13, 2020, for all other states/UTs. NTSE Stage 2 will be conducted on June 13, 2021.

For States with offline NTSE registrations, students are required to download the NTSE application forms 2021 online, take a printout, and fill them offline. The completely filled forms are needed to be submitted along with the NTSE application fee (if any) in the offline mode in school before the last date.
