 Given \: equation \: x - y = 0

 \implies x = y

 i) If \: x = -2 \: then \: y = -2

 ii) If \: x = 0 \: then \: y = 0

 iii) If \: x = 3 \: then \: y = 3

Now, plotting the points A(-2,-2) , O(0,0) and

 B(3,3) \:on \: the \: graph \: and \: joining

 them \: we \: get \: a \: straight \: line .

 This \: line \: passing \: through \: the \: origin

 and \: lies \: in \: Q_{1} \: and \: Q_{3}
