The grandmother became very lonely in the city because the boy would go to school by bus. He learnt science and music there. Grandmother thought music had lewd associations and for was beggars and not for gentlefolk .Her happiest half hit of the day was feeding the birds in verandah.Some birds came and sat on her legs others on shoulders. It used to be the happiest half hour of the day for her.
