Answer:

1) a - b

distance = 3 cm

time = 5 s

speed = distance/ time

= 3/5 cm/s

2) b - c

distance = 0 ( as the object is in rest the straight line parallel to the x- axis shows that the body is stationary )

time = 7-5 = 2 s

speed = distance/time

= 0/2 = 0cm /s

3) c - d

distance = 7-3 = 4

time = 9-7 = 2 s

speed = distance/ time

= 4/2 = 2 cm/s
