ii)For SHM,

x = Asinwt

v = Awcoswt

sinwt = x/A  ; wcoswt = v/ Aw

sin²wt + cos²wt = 1

x²/A² + v²/A²w² = 1

this is of form ,

x²/ a² + y²/b² = 1 , which is an ellipse, thus using the above explanation the graph of accelaration and displacement of y = Asinwt of SHM comes out to be an ellipse , a picture of the graph is given along with this answer.
