Given : graph of function f is shown on the coordinate plane

To Find : Graph the line representing function g

g(x) = 2f(x)

Solution:

f(x)  from graph

f(x) =  (1/2)x   -  3

g(x) = 2 f(x)  =  2 ((1/2)x   -  3 )  =  x  - 6

g(x) = x - 6

x f(x)  g(x)
