TO DETERMINE

The graph of Linear equation x - 2y = 3 is a line which meets the x axis at the point

EVALUATION

Here the given equation of the line is

x - 2y = 3 - - - - - - (1)

Now the line meets the x axis

∴ y = 0

From Equation 1 we get

x - 0 = 3

⇒ x = 3

Hence the required point = ( 3,0)
