x + y =7

x - y = 3 :- equation 1

as we are calculating the the point of intersection the x and y co ordinate will be same...

therefore :-

x - y = 3

x = 3 +y

so =

x+y=7

3+y+y = 7

2y = 4

y = 2

putting y in equation 1 :-

x-y = 3

x-2=3

x=5

therefore the point of intersection = (5, 3)
