Given :  y =  f(x) is a quadratic polynomial meets the x-axis at A(-2,0) and B(-3,0),

To find : the expression for f(x)

Solution:

y = f(x)

meets the x-axis at A(-2,0) and B(-3,0)

=> f(-2) = 0    &  f(-3) = 0

=> -2  &  - 3 are zeroes  of f(x)

Sum of Zeroes =  -5

product of Zeroes = 6

f(x) = x² - (Sum of Zeroes)x + Product

= x² + 5x  + 6

f(x) =   x² + 5x  + 6
