Answer: Speed of the car between 13:00 hrs & 14:00 hrs

v1 = s2-s1 ÷ t2-t2 = 30-0 ÷ 14-13 = 30÷1 = 30

Speed of the car between 15:30 hrs & 17:00 hrs

v2 = s2-s1 ÷ t2-t1 = 60-30 ÷ 17-15.5 = 30 ÷ 2.5 = 12

Ratio of the speed of the car = 30:12

Time taken stopping the car on the way is

t2-t1 = 15:30 -14 = 1:30 hrs

Distance from home where the car stopped is

s2-s1 = 30-0 = 30 Kms.
