The graph shows how the speed of the changes as the car passes through a small town calculate the distance between the start of the town and the end of the town

Answer:
Okay, so here we have a speed time graph. Um But lines, the lines on the picture were hard for me to see. I zoomed in as much as possible to figure out where these lines would be in these quantities. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure that what I have here is correct when I do these answers. Um Okay, so, couple things to note about speed time graphs. So speed versus time graphs, When we consider when we consider what they show, uh they're showing us how quickly something is moving over time. Um There's a few things to note. The slope value on these graphs gives acceleration. Um The area under the graph line gives the distance traveled. Yeah. Um So, so these are some things that we need to make sure that we are that we are familiar with as we as we work through this problem because the questions are asking ah the questions are asking for for answers that consider this information. So if we look at part A. A. One, it's asking what describe what happens to the speed of the car between A. And B. If you look at A, You can see that the initial speed of the car, the speed of the car at point a. On the graph is 25 m/s. Then if you look at where B. Is sometime later, you notice that the speed is less at 12.5 m/s. So from A. To B. The speed decreased. So we would say that the what's happening to the speed of the car? It's it's slowing down another way you can say that is that the speed the speed is decreasing ah At a constant at a constant rate. Okay Uh part two of a. It's asking about what's happening from B. And C. We can see that the speed stays at 12.5 m/s the whole time. So we would say that the speed is constant. So constant speed. Um In other words speed it does not change. Okay part three. Okay. It's asking what happens between C. And D. Well the speed now goes from 12.5 m/s All the way up to 31 m/s according to the graph. And so it looks like it's getting faster. So we would say speeding up you know the words speed is increasing at a constant rate. Okay so that's what's going on with a part B. Part B is asking us to calculate the distance between the start of the town and the end of the town. So area gives us distance and if I if I write on the graph just to show I'm looking at BB is where it enters the town. If I if I take this area right here right here looks like that area is like a like a that area right there is like a box like a like a cube or a rectangle if it's not perfectly square.
