Given :  graph showing the relationship between the volume of a rectangular prism and the volume of a square pyramid with an identical base and height.

The line starts at (0, 0) and passes through (1, 3), (2, 6) and (3, 9).

To Find :  slope of the line

Solution:

Points

x = Pyramid Volume in cubic units

y = Prism Volume in cubic units.

x     y

0     0

1      3

2     6

3     9

For Each unit change in x , there  is 3 unit change in y

Slope of line =  3/1 = 3

Slope of line  = ( 3- 0)/(1 - 0)  = 3

option D is correct
