World War I started in 1914 and continued till November 2018. Almost 17 million people were killed in this great war.

Franz Ferdinand was Archduke of Austria and Hungry. He was assassinated by a group of assassins. This was the immediate cause that led the world to the 1st World War.

The assassins ware sent by a terrorist group. The group belonged to Serbia. The terrorist group was known as The Black Hand. They assassinated Franz the Archduke in June 1914.
