the gravitational force between two objects is 100 N. how should the distance between the objects be changed so that the force between them becomes 50 N. ​

If there is 100 N gravitational force, then by increasing the distance between them √2 times ,the force will become 50 N. We know that g is inversely proportional to r² .

F=x/r² where x=Gm1m2

So if f is becoming half then k should be divided by 2 so we put √2 in place of r so r equals to √2
